Verse Pressing the button of the remote control change the weather pick direction unstable measures I’m sick of it all Give me more (x2) I want the lot. Chorus I saved a box of happy thoughts For rainy days like today Now I am looking for that box I knew I needed in case Reality was too hard to face. Verse 2 I left behind who made feel unborn Feed me more (x2) It was quite obvious I didn’t belong Save my soul (x2) Or say no more. Chorus M8 I could not recognise who I was I became who I know I was not Scared of my own dark, random, thoughts Of the likes I’m ready to throw + 1 bar Chorus

Verse 1 Never thought that I could say that But I’m sorry that I met you Cause I have to live without you And it’s harder everyday that it comes. Verse 2 I don’t want to sound ungrateful to God But when something beautiful has now gone You wish that you never got too involved Cause you feel deprived of the meaning of life, which is to love and to give. Chorus Wish you all the good things that come with life I don’t wish you any less For whatever reason we met again It was short but intense Something I’ll never forget. Verse 3 I was chasing you and you were chasing her Yearned a kiss from you while you were kissing her Thinking of you now and you still think of her Luckiest angel in your arms Single queen of your heart Was my dream straight from the start Chorus

Verse 1 Short for Words I’m trying to find the Way to Tell you that you’ll always be my Perfect love. Verse 2 I hope You have found someone to Care for You the way I dreamt of Being able to do. Chorus I deluded my own heart Picturing you as my other half What for you was just a good laugh seemed to be for me more than fun. Verse 3 ...but...I was Garnish on your plate at dinner Pretty to the eye but Pushed on to the side Verse 4 Not your fault It’s my foolish need to feel loved I confused your words for something I craved to hear. Chorus

Chorus You tried to paint my life Paint it dark like my eyes. Now my eyes see the light And the colours you tried to hide. Verse1 Marching into the unknown Armed with my doubts ready to throw into the void I’m not letting you put me down to feel once again insecure, now I’m beginning to look ahead, look up. I will die for what’s left in my heart, Rather than let my heart drawn in the past. I will take memories for what they are Something precious, something valuable, that has been and gone. Intro Chorus Verse2 Anger is our friend Gentle is not, still the most loyal one of all Tell us when we have been betrayed Where we’ve been, where we want to go And you’ve used it blind, to fulfil you greed Shielded into your clouds of smoke and With your rules, and your misconceptions I’m not scared of your lying mouth spitting fire, Cause it’s cold as snow, and it’s pale as ice, and it’s faint as foam. M8 I have mountains to climb But this won’t threaten me more Than being stuck at the bottom Which is where you belong. Solo Chorus Outro

Verse1 If I remember how it used to be Walking along the beach together, It seemed like we were just the two of us, Nobody but the moon. Verse2 Innocent dreaming, fall after falling, You’ve got to find the way to smile, Look into yourself you’ll find The courage to say goodbye. Chorus But when I see you again I seem to forget there’s a life out there, Suddenly it’s just you and me again Straight from the past to now, In a reality that’s just reality, Things have now changed, But I still love you. Solo Chorus Verse3 If I remember how it used to be, If I remember you... Lost in own world, just the two of us, Nobody but, No-o-o-body but, Nobody but the moon.

about

Whilst living in Dorset I recorded EP2, a collection of acoustic piano and vocal songs, with Gareth Matthews, which was reviewed in the Bournemouth Daily Echo newspaper by Sara Cartlidge who wrote:
"Italian-borne singer-songwriter Consuelo delivers another passionate and affecting EP, following on from Bittersweet in 2007. The classically trained pianist is emotionally charged during atmospheric opener See the Light, before showcasing a gentler side lyrically and musically in Short but Intense, proving that she's completely at ease veering from edgy to soft and melodic in a heartbeat".
